The Ice Weasels Cometh at White Barn Farm

Today was the season finale, The Ice Weasels was the perfect ending to a great season.
for me, personally, it was my best race in years, the MTB was the right tool for the job.

After racing, drinking a little, and enjoying the party, I took out the Camera.
I have come to  realize that drinking and shooting don't mix. out of 300+ images.
Most images were blurry, out of focus, poorly exposed... etc... sorry I was having too much fun, instead of paying attention to the camera.

here's a few that were half ok
I hope they do show the fun that was had by all!

SCORE!

NBX G.P. of Cyclocross Race, Day 2, December 6th, 2009

Today I had the fortune on missing my start for the Cat 4 race.  Instead of riding, I decided to photograph all my victims and nemeses (according to crossresults.com).
The complete Cat 4 Men’s gallery can be found over here.
The complete Women’s and Juniors (10-14) can be found over here.

NBX G.P. of Cyclocross Race, Day 1, December 5th, 2009

Misc photos of the Verge New England Championship Master’s 45+, 55+, and the Master’s A races can be found over here
It was a rainy, cold day and I didn’t feel like capturing photos, but I haven’t done it in awhile.  I shot a bunch of photos before realizing my lens was on manual focus.  I deleted most of them.  I suck.
However, after realizing this mistake, I decided to plan ahead, put my A-Game on, and get in a good position for the start of the Master’s A race.   I planted myself at the top of the first hill with flash in hand.  The first lap of a race provides a lot of drama and excitement, and I really like how the following photos turned out.  I hope you enjoy them, too.
P.S. don’t forget about Pain Face’s photos from the Elite Race.
(P.P.S. I just noticed these photos are cropped in the blog posting, click them to see them in their proper format.)
Here’s the hole shot, the race leaders powering up the first hill:
This chaos of the start reminds me of men charging in a Civil War battle:

NBX G.P. of Cross - Warwick RI

A very cold, wet, dark and rainy day in RI.
I raced right before the elite Women, my intentions were to take pictures of the women's field.
This would be my last opportunity to capture the Minuteman Road Club Women team on the club's kits. As many of you know they are moving forward, they are all awesome and it has been great to see their amazing progression into the elite rankings.

well after my race ended I was cold, wet and miserable. I didn't get my gear and camera ready
until the Men Started. I missed the entire Women race, so here are the Pics from the Elite Men

here's the U23 Winner and series leader
